Leving: Father wins case to raise his daughters
The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. won a case for a father who was happily and successfully raising his two teenage daughters – until the girls’ mother reappeared and abruptly took the girls away.
Jeffery Leving will talk about the case on his weekly radio show, the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour, 9-10 a.m. CDT Saturday, April 22 on Power 92.3 FM.
The girls, ages 15 and 13, had been living with Dad for five years, and the mother hadn’t exercised her parenting time for almost two years, until one day she showed up to take the girls for parenting time. According to court documents, once she had the girls, she wouldn’t bring them back.
This went on for several months before this tormented father called Leving. He did the right thing to protect his rights and his children.
The Leving firm went to court and told the judge what had happened, and argued that the girls MUST be returned to Dad immediately. The judge ordered the mother to return the girls to their father. Dad and his daughters are reunited after many months of sad separation.
This victory, modified for broadcast, puts these two teenagers back in their father’s home, where they had been living joyfully and peacefully.
“Dad was ecstatic to have them back,” said Leving, adding, “Nobody needs this kind of stress while they’re working hard to make a living and raise their kids.”
Leving concluded saying, “I’m really pleased that we were able to win in court for this dad, and set things right.”
