A Message from Ray Hanania

Ray Hanania
Ray Hanania

Don’t let the mainstream news media tell you what to think, or manipulate your views through their censorship and misrepresentation of the public discourse. You have a right to hear ALL opinions, not just the ones that fit their biased and Far Left agendas.

I am a Reagan Democrat, a conservative centrist with a pragmatic and commonsense approach to what society needs. Stop the gang bangers with tough policies, not “Foxx” or “Lightfoot” coddling. Support the Police. Jail the looters and all violent protestors. Make life impossible for ALL the criminals, not just the ones the biased leftwing news media hate. You use a gun in a crime you should go straight to jail with a minimum of 10 years. You kill someone, you should get life in prison. You murder a Police Officer or a First Responder, you should get a mandatory Death Penalty.

Chicago has the toughest gun control laws and yet has the worst street gang homicide violence. We need to end the violence because it will spread throughout Chicagoland. We need politicians who put our safety first above their selfish politics!

I tell it like it is in my weekly columns. With 45 years of political coverage experience including covering Chicago City Hall from from “Daley to Daley,” I don’t pull any punches.

For example, why does the news media describe the five hours of protests that took place at Congress on Jan. 6, 2021 as an “insurrection” and a “riot?” But, they describe the three month long riots and protests and violence June through August 2020 after the George Floyd Killings “legitimate protests?” Thousands of businesses were destroyed by looters and arsonists during the Floyd riots and Congress did nothing.

We should apply one moral standard, one fair policy, one ethics of equality when we address issues. Anyone who engages in violence, on Jan. 6, 2021 or In June 2020 through August 2020 should be treated the same, judged the same, described the same and not used to make political partisan points.

It’s the double standard driven by partisan politics, media bias, and political hypocrisy that is the real sickness in this country. It prevents and restricts all views from being considered or discussed.

This isn’t Facebook or Twitter where Centrist and Conservative views are censored with the false label of “inciting violence.” Why should Facebook or Twitter decide what is true and what is not true? I think you are smart enough to decide for yourself, to hear all sides regardless of any rule other than one prohibiting violence and prohibiting hatred (as opposed to anger).

Here in my columns, you will find honest opinions on important issues … good, bad or ugly. Uncensored and fearless. I won’t tell you what to think, but I will give you my thoughts so that you can make up your own minds.

Subscribe to my FREE eNewsletter Column published here exclusively and stay on top of the fight against the street gang killers, the looters and the gangbangers, the liars in the biased news media, and the hypocritical pundits and politicians. Get my columns early, before they are published in local newspapers or online. There is no cost to subscribe.

Check out my audio podcast “Ray Hanania on Politics,” and my special Podcast partnership with former Congress Bill Lipinski  called  “Two Guys on Politics.” Both offer insight into the important issues facing Chicagoland, the Suburbs and our country that you won’t find elsewhere.

You will also get details on my public appearances where you can challenge and question my views, or explore them and understand them, and be respected no matter what you believe or who you support. You can also email me and ask questions or share your opinions. Let’s have a respectful discussion focused on issues, not personalities, about the challenges we face as a nation.

(If for some reason the form above doesn’t work for you, send me your name and email and I will add it … rghanania@gmail.com.)

A Big Thank You for supporting my writings. Your subscription means a lot to me.
