We want your news!

Are you tired of the major news media ONLY focussing on Chicago? Are you tired of turning on your favorite TV station and watching news reports over and over again tell you about Chicago’s weather, Chicago’s events, and the endless murders, killings, robberies and ugliness?

Are you tired of opening up your local newspaper and only finding stories about Chicago? While your stories in your suburb get ignored?

If they do write or report on your suburb, the news is usually negative, bad, critical and often very wrong.

Red Light Cameras are popping up in many Chicagoland suburbs. You can help identify them and put pressure on the local communities to make them fair. Stop cutting the Yellow Light time from 3 to 4 seconds to 2 seconds just to profit. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

At SuburbanChicagoland.com, we want to change that. We want to make the Suburbs the focus on the news because most of the people in the Six County region live in the suburbs.

PERMISSION IS GRANTED TO REPUBLISHED ANY ARTICLE from this website with attribution to the name of the author, and credit to SuburbanChicagoland.com.

SuburbanChicagoland.com is an independent online news site which features award winning reporting, writing and cutting edge opinion commentary on Chicagoland and the Chicagoland suburbs in Illinois. Individual writers submit their own stories to Suburban Chicagoland for your information.

We strive to be fair, accurate and informative. And we want your news. Your events. Your press releases. Your photographs. And, your opinions.

And if you are a local business, we want your news and advertising, too, to make SuburbanChicagoland.com the go-to source for information about the great suburbs.

If you have questions about any story, please make sure to directly contact the writer identified by their byline and contact info.

About

SuburbanChicagoland.com was launched in 2017 to help fill what we believe is a void in the coverage of Chicago’s suburbs. Too much of the news focuses only on Chicago and very little news focuses on the suburbs where the majority of readers live.

We want your news, your stories, your opinions and your comments about our stories.

So make sure to contact us and share your information. Email the Website Editor at RayHanania@SuburbanChicagoland.com

We want your news, events and news releases.

We accept submissions including press releases but require full contact information, name, address, email and telephone number. We also require that any photographs or digital images be owned by the submitter. Please ensure you have the copyright to any photograph that you submit with your releases or news information.

COMMENT

We also encourage reader comments. You can comment on ANY Post on Facebook. Select the Comment Option at the Top of the Page Menu, or SHARE the Article and post a comment to start a discussion of your own.
