CLE at Leving firm to focus on analyzing financial records to discover adverse party’s assets in Domestic Relations cases
The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will host the next presentation of the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series on Monday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m. CST at 19 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago.
Attorney Jeffrey L. Paustian of the Leving firm will be the main speaker, presenting on: “Best Practices in Analyzing Business and Personal Financial Records to Effectively Represent Clients in Domestic Relation Cases.”
“In divorce and custody cases, a full accounting of all parties’ financial positions is essential,” says attorney Jeffery M. Leving, founder and president of the firm, who will facilitate the seminar.
“Maintenance and child support are determined largely based on this information. As we represent our clients, we must discover all the assets and income the adverse party holds, which sometimes are not declared or may even be hidden. Mr. Paustian is highly experienced in using financial records and investigatory resources to bring such assets to light and to the court’s attention, and I believe attendees at this seminar will learn a lot from him.”
The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The Kallow CLE Seminar Series, which began in 2014, provides legal education to family law attorneys and other professionals looking to expand their legal knowledge. CLE credit will be awarded.
Please make reservations by emailing Jennifer Whiteside (jwhiteside@levinglaw.com), as this program is close to its capacity.
