Fiesta Del Sol Citizenship & Immigration Expo

Fiesta del Sol is a festival known for its food, live music, attractions for kids and adults, and the joy and warmth of the festival-goers.

However, an essential part of our Festival, and where we strive year after year to provide tools to the community, are our different Expositions.

This year, we will have different expos to help the community. Housing Expo, Citizenship and Immigration Expo, Art Expo, College Week Expo, Job expo, just to name a few.

During this time, before the start of Fiesta Del Sol 2021, we will be highlighting our expos individually to publicize all the valuable tools that these expos can offer to our community.

CITIZENSHIP & IMMIGRATION EXPO ACTIVATION

The Citizenship and Immigration Expo will educate and organize leaders on immigration policies and priorities, while working along with the community to develop leadership and advocacy for immigrant access and inclusion. This effort will be led by community leaders, volunteer immigration attorneys, community based organizations, and local governmental entities. Along with this, the Citizenship and Immigration Expo brings together diverse community organizations across Chicago to provide immigration services and counseling.

For this year’s expo we will be hosting two events open to the public: the “Citizenship & Immigration Expo Roundtable Discussion” on July 30th, where a group of immigration experts will come together and discuss all immigration related issues, and then on July 31st, we will be hosting the free “Virtual Multilingual Immigration Counseling Services”, where all participants will get a free personalized consultation with immigration attorneys in your own language, to talk about any issues or questions that you may have about immigration and citizenship.

To be part of the audience at the Roundtable discussion on July 30th, please register HERE
