Local Catholic Parishes to Host Advent Masses

Simbang Gabi is a Filipino Catholic tradition of celebrating a novena (series of nine) of Advent evening Masses. It is meant to help Filipino-American and other Catholics in the area to intensify their spiritual preparation for the grace-filled celebration of Christmas.

Masses are at 7:00pm. Parish Hosts invite all parishioners, families and
friend to attend all Masses.

Friday, December 15 St. Damian Church, Chicago

Saturday, December 16 St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr, Tinley Park

Sunday, December 17 St. Bernadette Parish, Evergreen Park

Monday, December 18 St. Fabian Church, Bridgeview

Tuesday, December 19 St. Michael Church, Orland Park

Wednesday, December 20 St. Anselm Parish, Chicago

Thursday, December 21 St. Francis of Assisi, Orland Park
