Right from the Middle: My disappointment in both Republicans and Democrats

Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are bringing the country together and leaders of both parties are fanning the flames of division and anger. President Joe Biden’s recent speech in which eh attacks Republicans only helped to push the two sides apart

I am very unhappy and disappointed in both our political parties. I have come to the very unfortunate conclusion, that neither one of the parties are interested in what’s good for America and its citizens; they only support what they think is good for their party.

If the leaders of these parties were putting together our Declaration of Independence and Constitution there never would have been the United States of America.

President Biden made a primetime speech last week, which the White House billed as a speech to bring Americans together. It was not.

It was a very hostile angry speech by a man uncomfortable speaking that way.

That is not the Joe Biden that has worked for the good of America for 40 years or so. That is not the Joe Biden who campaigned as a moderate and a person who can bring us that’s spelled United States together.

I believe the speech was written by the progressive far left of the Democratic party and those same forces convinced President Biden to deliver the speech in a very highly partisan tone.

Using such language as Democracy is under assault, our Republic’s institutions are being violently attacked, Former President Trump’s supporters are full of anger, violence, hate, and division.

The predicate for this speech was set earlier in the week when President Biden liken former President Trump’s supporters to Semi-Fascist, there by opening the door, to some elements in the Republican Party, to call the Democrats Socialist or even Communist.

Unfortunately, other Democrats in past years, have talked about President Trump’s supporters as clinging to their bibles and their guns, and being racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, and Islamophobic.

Driving the dive of the American people even wider with such extreme oratory.

One last quote from President Biden before I turn my attention on former President Trump.

President Biden said former President Trump’s supporters do not respect the Constitution, do not believe in the rule of law, and do not recognize the will of the people.

They promote authoritarian leaders (of course not mentioned is that Biden has issued more executive orders in less than two years than any other president in history) and fan the flames of political violence, which threatens the soul of our country.

Add to this the statements from former President Trump, like “we won the election in a landslide, and they stole it from us,” which he said on election night and he still is saying that without any proof. Ironically, not one of the judges Trump appointed to office agree with him.

Former President Trump also said radical Democrats are sick, sinister and evil people who are trying to destroy our country.

Another statement former President Trump made was that the “Biden, Sanders, Warren” Democrats now stand for semi-socialism.

Former President Trump has called Democrats “unAmerican, treasonous and supportive of criminals” over red-blooded American citizens.

He has also said Democrats are against God, guns, oil, law enforcement, voter I.D., tax cuts, regulation cuts, the constitution and our founding fathers. The only way they win elections is by cheating.

I believe former President Trump provoked the violent attack on United States Capitol with this kind of rhetoric.

Because of these reasons and many others, I do not believe either former President Trump nor President Biden should ever be re-elected again to serve as President of the United States.

We need someone who will bring us, that’s the United States, together. Someone who will be for all Americans and once again make this Land of Liberty and Fortress of Freedom a place that the rest of the world can be guide by.
