Why is the government refusing to release all JFK investigation documents?

By Ray Hanania

For my generation, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 was one of the most traumatic moments for my generation.

It wasn’t just because of the shock of seeing the leader of the most powerful country in the world being taken out so brutally and so easily by a known nut job, Lee Harvey Oswald.

It was because it was the first time that Americans began to realize that their government might be lying to them, manipulating the truth by redacting facts and suppressing information.

For me, as a young child, it became the doorway to a road that led me to believe that our government is not truthful. That it lies to protect things other than principle, morality, or truth. That there is a hypocrisy when it comes to the U.S. Constitution. That what we stand for is not founded in “truth, justice and the America way” as we were often told, but instead in keeping things secret without explanation.

It has been nearly 60 years since the JFK killing and we still can’t see all of the documents about what happened because the deep state continues to suppress their release. Nearly 6,000 documents from the JFK assassination “investigation” remain hidden from public view.

Why?

Who or what is being protected by the government’s refusal to release those documents?

Nearly every main actor involved, associated with or suspected of involvement in the killing is dead. And yet, important documents are being withheld from the public. Obviously, they must be important although some reporters are asserting that they are not that important. So why keep them hidden?

It must mean one thing. That the villain in this unresolved assassination of an American President isn’t just a person or persons, but rather the villain might be a political system that is manipulated by persons who fear it will be altered. The Deep State.

I will never believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was the sole killer in JFK’s assassination. He may have been the sole gunman, maybe! But he didn’t do it alone.

A marksman, for sure, but Oswald was an extremist radical who was already on the radar screens of our government’s concerns and someone watched by police for years. And yet he so easily assassinated an American president.

There are so many issues that have never been fully addressed, but have been forcefully brushed off as “conspiracy theories” of lunatics.

In other words, if you challenge the government’s claims made in the Warren Commission, which allegedly investigated the assassination, you are branded as a “nut job.”

And instead of addressing the concerns, they will call you names.

One thing I have learned in seven decades of life, when they start calling you names, attacking you personally rather than addressing the concerns that you express or the facts you try to present, then it means they don’t want to address those facts or concerns. It means they want to deflect away from answering those questions.

It means they can’t answer those concerns because it might expose something that is being hidden, protected from public view.

The questions and concerns of the public are legitimate, and they should be addressed fully. But how. do you address those concerns without knowing what is being hidden in the undisclosed “archives?”

Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson, LBJ, was no fan of President Kennedy. LBJ knew the Kennedy’s ridiculed him and only kept him on the ballot because they needed Texas and to keep the Democratic Party together.

Dallas was a bastion of anti-Kennedy hatred.

The mafia was angry with the Kennedy’s, in a large part because they believed that they had made his presidency a reality by stealing votes in Chicago’s wards.

The military industrial establishment was concerned that JFK was going to go soft on the Vietnam War and against Communism. One of LBJ’s first acts was to begin the process of ramping up involvement of American soldiers there.

The notorious hatred that depraved FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover had against the Kennedy family was well known. Hoover hated the Kennedy’s. And even if it is beyond belief that he could have been involved in Kennedy’s murder, certainly it is very believable that he didn’t do enough to prevent it. Just like LBJ didn’t do enough to protect Kennedy in Dallas.

They all had reasons to suppress issues ad facts, and yet they have lobbied the public to believe that the assassination was fully investigated.

Lying became policy, like when LBJ’s administration presented to the U.S. Congress on August 5, 1964, alleged evidence that North Vietnamese torpedo boats initiated an attack against two U.S. destroyers, the Maddox and the Turner Joy.

That alleged unprovoked attack became the justification for revenge and the pretext for LBJ to dramatically increase U.S. Military involvement in the war, which is what the anti-Kennedy faction in the military had wanted all along.

That lie was never fully disclosed until many years later.

And, of course, Kennedy was a Catholic and the anti-Catholic hatred in the American political establishment was powerful.

This week, President Joseph Biden, who isn’t fully in charge of his own faculties, reviewed and released some documents as a part of the 1992 law requiring a review of the JFK Case, but withheld the release of 4,684 documents.

Why? Why not release everything? What are they hiding?

Don’t tell me that Biden decided not to release the 4,684 documents. He couldn’t possibly have reviewed any of them and clearly he follows the direction of the Deep State that controls Washington D.C. and our “intelligence” agencies.

There is no doubt in my mind that Deep State bureaucrats made the decisions on the documents for Biden, and our President just went along, as he has been going along on the JFK coverup for the past 50 years. Biden entered politics in 1973, a decade after JFK was murdered.

The lesson of the JFK assassination is that you cannot trust our own government. The Deep State in Washington D.C. is a threat to the freedom of this nation.

Fully investigating the JFK assassination would pull the covers off of that Deep State and its decades of lies, and who knows what else would be exposed with it.
