Right from the Middle: Who are Ukraine’s greatest supporters next to America?

By William O. Lipinski

The United Kingdom is resolved to spend $2.53 billion in aid to Ukraine, second only to the United States, whose contribution at the present time stands at $25.45 billion.

Poland is third with its aid to Ukraine standing at $2.1 billion, and if you include Poland’s direct military equipment aid to Ukraine, they would come in second.

The countries which have aided Ukraine are: Germany $1.48 billion, Canada $ 0.8 billion, Norway $0.48 billion, followed by Estonia, Latvia, France, Italy, and the Czech Republic, all under $0.27 billion.

Outside of the United States, Poland is the greatest donor of military hardware to Ukraine, other than our Land of Liberty and Fortress of Freedom – it has sent to Ukraine 200 T-72 tanks, 18 self-propelled tracked gun-howitzer, a very large number of portable surface to air missiles, 15 MIG -29 fighter jets. a very large number of Patriot Missiles, long range artillery such as the 155 mm AHS KRAB, and numerous other weapons.

Poland, along with the United States, has become Ukraine’s arsenal of democracy.

Poland is also building up their military capabilities.

It has spent $2.3 billion to buy missiles and missile launchers from the United Kingdom for their own defense system and it has purchased $10 billion in HIMARS rocket launchers and related ammo and equipment from the United States.

Poland has also purchased 32 F-35 fighter jets from the United States.

The first shipment of missiles for the Patriot air defense systems started arriving early this year. The 250 Abrams tanks it purchased will hopefully start arriving later this year.

Poland has also purchased $12.3 billion in arms from South Korea. The purchase from South Korea includes nearly 200 K2 Panther battle tanks and nearly 50 FA fighter planes, as well as hundreds of howitzers and multiple rocket launchers.

Poland is becoming America’s greatest military ally on the European continent to defend democracy and freedom. Poland has also taken in 1.5 million refugees from Ukraine and is allowing Ukrainian troops to be trained on their soil. Casimir Pulaski and Tadeusz Kosciuszko would be very, very proud.

ALL AMERICAN EAGLES PATRIOTISM AWARDS

I would also like to announce the winner of the All American Eagles Patriotism Awards

The All American Eagles program is extremely proud and happy to present to Jeffery J. Kranig the Eagle Head Award for countless acts of patriotic community involvement and unlimited devotion to our land of liberty and fortress of freedom.

The following are some of Mr. Kranig’s patriotic activities and achievements through the years in our land of the pilgrims’ pride:

Co-chairman of the Patriot’s weekend Sports Competition program for youth of the Clearing and Garfield Ridge Communities.

Chairman of the Patriots Weekend Parade; Co-chairman of fundraising for Patriots Weekend; Vice-president of the Clearing Civic League; Vice-president of the Clearing Industrial League.

Creator and chief fundraiser for the Clearing Memorial dedicated to the young men who gave their lives fighting communism in Vietnam.

Vice chairman of the Southwest Liberty Society dedicated to the recognition of individuals and organizations for their work in promoting Americanism.

Co-chairman and ticket coordinator for the American Cancer Society’s “Strike out Cancer” fundraising event at the Ford City Shopping Mall.

Assistant director of the Frontiersman Freedom Foundation, an organization committed to sponsoring, organizing, promoting and staging patriotic activities.

Fundraising chairman for the Village of Justice EthnicFest.

Along with Mayor Vanallen and Clerk Svoboda, he planned, organized, and presented a magnificent celebration of Americanism dedicated to our men and women in service. This four-day celebration included athletic, cultural, educational events and culminated with a parade.

He has been honored for his service and dedication to the order of Alhambra, Garfield Ridge Kiwanis Club, Lyons Township Assessor, Bridgeview Lyons Club, American Legion Post 1272, American cancer society, and the Bridgeview and Justice Emergency Management agency.

He was named Veteran of the Year 2013 by the Lyons Club of Bridgeview.

His vision, inspiration and dedication in creating the Bridgeview Justice Veterans celebration event dinner would not have been possible without him.

My Betsy Ross Flag is flying high. My tri corner hat is off. And my trusty old colonial musket is raised in salute to Mr. Jeff Kranig for his positive Americanism and for his incalculable contributions to America and his communities.
