Tara Reade reminds us how hypocritical the DNC really is

Sexual harassment claims by Tara Reade against Democratic Presidential contender Joe Biden are not being taken as seriously as sexual harassment claims made by women against President Donald Trump. That’s because no one is really concerned about sexual harassment. They are more concerned about how to use sexual harassment for political advantage, and that’s disgusting

By Ray Hanania

If you ever wanted to know how hypocritical the sexual allegations against President Trump are, all you need do is see how his foes, mostly Democrats, are brushing off another claim of sexual harassment by a female victim against a Democratic icon.

When I recall the Monica Lewinsky scandal involving President Bill Clinton, what I remember most was not his outright lies and his abuse of someone who worked under him. I remember how ferocious the Democrats and the Media were in beating down sexual harassment claims against Clinton by other women.

Clinton’s sexual abuse of Lewinsky was impossible to deny even if the President tried to deny it until he was forced to admit he had lied. It resulted in his impeachment. Clinton’s Democratic allies weighed in on their friend by denouncing his sexual abuse of Lewinsky, but off-set that by forcefully rejecting sexual accusations including of rape against Clinton by four other women.

Juanita Broaddrick accused Clinton of raping her in 1978 while he was the Arkansas Attorney General. Kathleen Wiley accused President Clinton of groping her breasts and forcing her to touch his crotch in the White House in 1993. Paula Jones was sexually harassed by Clinton when he was Arkansas Governor in a hotel room. And Leslie Milwee, a former TV reporter, claimed Governor Clinton sexually harassed and fondled her three times. Not only are they victims of sexual harassment but they are victims of leftwing hypocrisy.

Clinton’s political beat down over Lewinsky was enough, however, for most Democrats who believed that they could ignore the other charges because they impeached Clinton. The other accusations were pushed aside, marginalized and cast off as “lies,” despite overwhelming evidence.

Now look at how those same Democrats treated President Trump. Every word, every incident, every accusation was turned into a political platform in the “Me Too” movement, a campaign used by the left to bash Conservatives and Trash Trump.

Trump’s indictment by the Left was driven so hard that the politically focused accusation has been laser tight around Trump and only Trump.

And now we have President Obama’s former Vice President, Joe Biden. Biden has been credibly accused of sexually harassing a young female Tara Reade, while she worked in Biden’s office 27 years ago when he was the Senator from Delaware.

The truth is that the people screaming about Trump’s sexual harassment incidents don’t really care about sexual harassment or the women victims at all.

What they do care about is that the accusations can be used to tear Trump down. That’s all they want to do.

In contrast, every sexual accusation against a major Democrat is marginalized and brushed off as insignificant and lies.

I’m not saying Trump is the “best” president we have. He has flaws and has made some stupid statements. He has acted ridiculously and made many mistakes. In my opinion, Trump was far better than Hillary Clinton who I have to belief was her husbands enabler and defender all so they could enjoy the highest levels of political power. It was the price she was willing to pay.

But so has every other person who has served as president. The difference is how the national news media, which is Left-leaning and pro-Democrat, chooses to exaggerate some while downplaying and ignoring others.

They are doing just that now with Biden.

Instead of the slogan “Me Too,” the Democrats have come up with a new one for the women who have accused Biden of sexual harassment. It’s called “Boo Hoo.” Another is “Me Too, But Not You.” And still another one that fits is “We’ll Tolerate anything from our ranks as long as it brings us back to total power.”

Don’t ever think the National Democratic leaders care an iota about sexual harassment. If they did, there would be one standard for everyone regardless of political party.

You want to judge Trump? Then judge Biden and Clinton by the same standard.
