Orland Hills Police update on shots fired Sunday, 167th 88th Ave
Shots were reported very early Sunday morning, around 2 AM, near the area of 88th Avenue between 167th and 171st Street in Orland Hills.
It was a targeted incident. No details are being released at this time on the subject.
Orland Hills Police are actively investigating the incident and are withholding information pending the investigation.
Police Chief Mike Blaha emphasized that the community at large is not in any danger or jeopardy, calling it a “targeted shooting.”
The section of 88th Avenue between 167th Street and 171st Street was closed for about 12 hours on Sunday by the Emergency Team (ET), but was reopened late Sunday afternoon.
