Rockford Man Charged with Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of Minor
A Rockford man is now facing felony charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, grooming, and solicitation of child pornography following an investigation by the Cook County Sheriffs Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart announced today.
On Thursday, Dec. 1, Magnificate Bienheureux, 23, was arrested after ICAC investigators discovered he began an online relationship with a minor over a social media application which led to the exchange of sexually explicit images and subsequent sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old victim.
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office approved charges of Solicitation of Child Pornography – a Class 1 Felony, as well as Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse – a Class 2 felony, and Grooming – a Class 4 felony.
Bienheureux appeared in the George N. Leighton Criminal Courthouse today where he was issued at $100,000 D bond.

The public is reminded that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty by the government in a court of law.
Investigations b ICAC have led to child pornography charges against 30 individuals since 2020.
