Charges filed after altercation leads to death of New Lenox man
Tinley Park police on Friday charged a Tinley Park man with felony aggravated battery after he pushed a New Lenox man to the ground during an argument May 29 in the Brookside Glen neighborhood.
Police said Frank Stiso, 59, was driving at about 5:30 p.m. in the 8600 block of Brookside Glen Drive when he got into an argument with another driver, Jacob Bean, 24. During the altercation, the two men exited their vehicles and Bean pushed Stiso to the pavement, knocking him unconscious.
Stiso was transported to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, where he died after succumbing to injuries he sustained from the fall.
The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office is still reviewing the investigation.
