A Cicero man was charged on Friday with the murder of his girlfriend in their Cicero apartment.
Cicero Police responded to a well-being check at 5417 W. 22nd Place on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022.
Upon police arrival, officers were met by a male subject, identified as Esteban Basaldua, and a female relative in front of the residence.
Officers made entry into the 1st floor apartment and observed an unresponsive adult female, identified as Ms. Christian Duarte, 28, who was face down on the living room carpet with signs of violence.
