White House push probes “Capitol riot,” but continues to ignore the post-Floyd riots

Special Column Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Loot businesses, burn buildings, injure scores of people and that is your 1st Amendment Constitutional Right to protest. But protest government, and the Congress treats it as a high crime and misdemeanor. The hypocrisy of how Congress ignores one greater and real  crime — the months-long violence of Black Lives Matter protests after George Floyd’s death — and instead focus only on the lesser violence — several hours of protests by Americans who believe they have the right to challenge government injustice and lies

(Check out the audio Podcast below)

After George Floyd was accidentally killed by an irresponsible Police Officer, Derek Chauvin, real rioters to the streets in cities across America and looted, vandalized and burned down thousands of businesses. Scores of innocent bystanders were injured.

And of course, not a peep from the White House or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to investigate and hold the criminals accountable.

A segment of a massive pro-Trump rally and anti-Biden protest in Washington D.C. on January 6 gets out of hand illegally destroying property and threatening some members of Congress and it is suddenly an “insurrection.” A “riot.” A conspiracy to destroy Democracy and forcibly takeover government.

It was bad enough we had to listen to the biased news media whine about the Jan. 6 protestors and be silent about the Floyd rioters. Less than 10 percent of the looters during the 2020 Summer were arrested and most had their charges dismissed by liberal lawmakers under pressure from the liberal news media.

Even the Arab American and Muslim community was shamefully silent in the face of the post-Floyd killing looting, rioting and violence that consumed the entire summer of 2020, even though Arab and Muslim businesses were among the primary targets. Why were they silent? Because they hate Trump more than they love their own people.

More than a dozen Arab American owned businesses were destroyed and burned down during the 2020 Floyd riots in Chicago alone, but nothing has ever been done to help those business owners get back on their feet. Hundreds more Arab owned stores were destroyed and looted, among thousands of businesses across the country. The Arab activists are silent on all this, concerned more about jeopardizing support from the Black Lives Matter movement which has been outspoken in support of Palestinian rights, than with justice.

Palestinians, Muslims and Christians, are being oppressed and deserve to have voices defend their human rights, but not at the expense of turning a blind eye to the violence against Arab businesses right here in America.

Why were Arab and Muslim businesses targeted by the Floyd rioters? Because Floyd was turned in to police by an employee when he tried to cash for the second time a counterfeit 20 dollar bill, at an Arab American owned grocery store in Minneapolis.

This morning, Congress convened a hearing into the Jan. 6 riots, but not one word about the post-Floyd rampage that the hypocritical far left hopes will be pushed into forgotten memory.

If you didn’t think this was all about politics, all you had to do was turn to Pelosi who appointed two Republicans to the “Capitol Riot” hearings, Congressman Adam Kinzinger, of Channahon, and Congresswoman Liz Cheney, the daughter of un-convicted war criminal Dick Cheney who led America into the Iraq War to avenge his personal angers and boost up the profits of his mega war contracting firm, Halliburton. Cheney made sure to boost up the benefits to his daughter, Liz, putting her into office in 2016 in Wyoming, a state where it is easy to manipulate voting results.

Kinzinger and Cheney have ingratiated themselves with the Pelosi crowd by attacking Trump and helping to distract the country from President Biden’s many shortcomings and his son’s questionable foreign contract work.

Pelosi has no qualms about exploiting Kinzinger and Cheney by appointing them to the House Select Committee to make it look like the “Capitol Riot” hearings are “bi-partisan.” And they don’t mind being used, either.

The point I am making is that Kinzinger and Cheney, and Pelosi, too, don’t care about principle. They care only about politics. They don’t care about protecting the U.S. Constitution, they only care about exploiting the national polemic divide for their own personal political benefit.

Kinzinger and Cheney should both be booted out of their Congressional seats for pandering to the Democrats in order to pursue personal, political vengeance against Trump and the Trump Republicans.

I don’t know if Trump will run for President again or not. It doesn’t matter. Trump isn’t the issue any longer, but he certainly is being used as an excuse to justify the political extremism of the far Left.

The truth is, Trump is also being used by his foes to fuel the fires of anger and division.

The bottom line is this. If Congress feels so strongly that the so-called “Capitol Riots” must be investigated, protests that surely got out of hand that have been politicized into an “insurrection” to beat up on Trump and his supporters, surely, they could also take time to investigate the looting, the violence and the destruction of businesses and public property by anti-Trump protestors, too.

The fact that they are only looking at one side of all this is absolute proof that they really don’t care about violence or protecting our Constitution. All that Pelosi and her political cohorts care about is using any event to twist into a political weapon to bludgeon Trump and their own critics and enemies.

That is pretty pathetic.
