Suspect arrested in Maywood murder

On March 12th 2019, shortly after 8pm the Maywood Police Department responded to the area of the 1100 block of Madison Ave for a man shot.

Upon arrival, Maywood Officers found Isaiah Scott, 19, of Maywood, suffering from a gunshot wound to the body.

Isaiah Scott was transported to Loyola Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Maywood PD detectives, along with the Patrol, and TRT units worked tirelessly to piece together the murder investigation.

On May 21st 2021, Anthony Tillis, 20, of Maywood was charged with First Degree Murder for the shooting death of Isaiah Scott.

Tillis is expected in bond court on May 22^nd 2021.
