The American Hockey League announced Friday that Chicago Wolves forward Daniel Carr has been named the CCM/AHL Player of the Month for February.

Carr produced eight goals, nine assists and a +10 plus/minus rating during 11 games in February to guide the Wolves into first place in the AHL’s Central Division. Carr scored at least one point in each contest, so he carries a career-high 11-game point streak into tonight’s game at Texas. He delivered one goal in each of the Wolves’ first six games in February as well.

The 27-year-old Alberta native continues to lead the league in points (70), points per game (1.43) and plus-minus rating (+35) while sharing the top spot in goals (29) and assists (41).
