Leving Team Protected Dad’s Child from Serious Harm in High-Stakes Court Victory
By Laura Reichel
When a child’s safety is on the line, every moment matters, and every action taken can carry profound weight. This case was a powerful reminder of why the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd. do the work they do to protect children and fight for fathers who are desperate to keep their children safe.
After successfully arguing before the judge, the Leving team secured a court order finding and concluding that there was a serious risk of endangerment to a dad’s young child if the mother’s parenting time was not restricted.
Failure was not an option to protect this child and never is for the Leving team.
Chicago based matrimonial Attorney Jeffery Leving, President of the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd., will talk about this important court victory on the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour, 9-10 a.m. CDT Saturday, May 30th on Power 92.3 FM.

This show segment will be available for download on the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour’s Spotify page on dadsrights.com. Listen to Leving’s radio show and follow his fight for fathers and children everywhere and connect with him on Instagram @dadsrights.
Dad and the mother have been divorced for quite some time. However, troubling issues involving the child began to surface and deeply concerned Dad. Dad immediately called Attorney Jeffery Leving for help. Dad was assured that he had come to the right law firm and that they would fight to protect his son’s future. The Leving team litigated the case to victory with investigative support from the firm’s private detective, Detective Wayne Halick.
After the child reportedly told dad that he was contemplating hurting himself, the Leving team rushed to court with an emergency motion on behalf of dad seeking to restrict the mother’s parenting time. The court-appointed guardian ad litem also reported to the court that the child told him that he recently thought about cutting or burning himself to escape his mother yelling at him and berating him for loving his father. The mother strongly denied the boy’s claims, but based upon the case presented by the Leving firm, the judge found dad’s claims to be credible.
The Leving team convincingly argued to the court that the adverse party’s conduct presented a serious endangerment to the child’s mental, emotional, and physical health, and parenting time must be restricted. The judge agreed with their argument, finding that the child would be seriously endangered without intervention and ordered that the mother’s parenting time be supervised. Dad was deeply relieved. He’d been living in fear for his son’s safety, and now he felt he could relax knowing that his child was finally safe.
Matrimonial Attorney Jeffery M. Leving is the recipient of the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the President of the United States in recognition of his 7,500 hours of service to this great nation.
