La Grange hosts state baseball tourney
13-year-old Babe Ruth All-Stars start play tonight, winner crowned Sunday

La Grange Babe Ruth Baseball is again hosting the Northern Illinois 13-year-olds All-Star Tournament at Sedgwick Park, 47th Street and East Avenue.
Play begins today, July 20, with Evergreen Park playing Downers Grove at 5 p.m., followed by Galesburg and La Grange at 8 p.m.
Tournament games are set for 5 and 8 p.m. Friday, and noon and 3 p.m. Saturday. The title game is to start at 1 p.m. Sunday.
All the tournament games are played on the lighted senior field. Admission is free, and the concession stand will be open.
