Former Congresswoman Marie Newman endorses Joseph “Joey” Ruzevich for Congress in the Illinois 6th Congressional District
Former Congresswoman of IL-3, Marie Newman, has formally endorsed Joseph “Joey” Ruzevich, Democratic candidate for Illinois’ 6th Congressional District.
Marie Newman also confirmed her attendance as the keynote speaker at Joey Ruzevich’s fundraising dinner on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 6:00 pm in Bridgeview, Illinois at Al Bawadi Grill.
The fundraiser will bring together supporters from across Illinois’ 6th District, including community leaders, grassroots organizers, and residents from DuPage and Cook Counties who are backing Ruzevich’s effort to bring new leadership to Congress.
“I’m thrilled to support an outstanding candidate like Joey who was born and raised in IL-06 and truly understands the entire district, not just select areas. Joey offers real solutions that actually work in everyday life focused on the cost of living, healthcare and ending corruption. He is a breath of fresh air,” said former Congresswoman of IL-3, Marie Newman.
