“Migrant crisis” is political spin that disguises “homeless”

America’s immigration system is not only messed up, but the language we use to discuss it is also inaccurate and misleading. The word “migrant” is a political term that really means “homeless,” and homeless people should never be dropped off on a street corner, especially in the arctic cold weather that plagues many northern states.

By Ray Hanania

Buses filled with individuals have been shipped to several suburbs in recent months and the passengers have become pawns in a political debate between the political Right and Left.

They call them “migrants,” people from other countries who enter the United States legally believing they can force America to give them what they can’t get in their own countries.

I don’t blame them for wanting to come to America. The countries where they reside are governed by corrupt officials who profit on the backs of their people.

Of course, how is that different from America where our national officials spend more time amassing personal wealth while marginalizing needs of Americans, who are already citizens, like Seniors?

According to OpenSecrets.org, more than half of the members of Congress are millionaires. Nearly every one of them became wealthier AFTER winning office. OpenSecrets.org offers information on how money driven by foreign interests corrupts our American foreign policy.

Many suburban communities passed laws preventing “migrants” from being dropped-off in their communities. The media has criticized those laws as “heartless” and “uncaring.”

Portraying them as “migrants” makes anyone trying to stop them from being unloaded appear heartless.

But the truth is, “migrants” are really “homeless” people who are being bussed into suburban communities by heartless politicians for selfish political reasons. “Migrants” are “homeless” exploited by the Extreme Right and Extreme Left solely for political purpose.

The truth is government should do more to prevent them from entering the country illegally. It is not “heartless” at all, but rather an expression of responsibility. Dumping “homeless” people on the street without providing aid is an evil act, especially during cold seasons.

One suburb where I work passed a law that fines bus companies $750 for each “homeless” person they dump onto their streets. Most buses hold 40 people so that fine adds up to $30,000 in fines.

The fact is these people should not be allowed to enter America illegally.

It is a symptom of this country’s failed immigration policies. Contrast American policies with the policies of the countries where these people originate! Those countries have air-tight systems to prevent illegal immigration.

The people pushing these homeless migrants to come into America are actually more irresponsible. America already has nearly 600,000 homeless Americans who wealthy politicians ignore. These “migrant homeless” enter believing America will care for them better than their original countries. But they and their children end up living on the street, exposed to harsh weather and face starvation.

Migrants should be returned to their countries. It’s horrible that they expose their own children to harsh and life-threatening conditions.

America should file international lawsuits against the countries from which they originate, so that money can be used to return them or force them to enter this country legally.

Every non-citizen should be required to enter this country in a legal way, to weed out criminals and to ensure they have relatives or resources to keep them from becoming someone else’s burden. The real evil are the governments of the countries where they flee.

#AbandonBiden Campaign growing

Driving the #AbandonBiden campaign are Arab and Muslim Americans, citizens who entered this country legally but are denied benefits and rights because of this country’s inbred inherent racism.

#AbandonBiden will undermine President Joe Biden’s re-election. Look at states where the #AbandonBiden movement is strong: Biden defeated Trump in Michigan by only 154,188 votes in 2020; in Arizona by 10,457; in Wisconsin by 20,682; in Georgia by 11,779; in Nevada by 33,596; and, in Pennsylvania by 81,660 votes. In Minnesota, which has a large Arab/Muslim population, Biden defeated Trump by 233,012 votes.

Arab and Muslim Americans are doing what many Americans do. They vote “against” someone in elections. This campaign will result in Biden’s defeat in November 2024.

Democrats should replace Biden. Arguing dumping Biden will result in re-electing former President Donald Trump is not persuasive. #AbandonBiden is a long-term strategy to change this country’s political and moral corruption and correct its many hypocrisies.

The #AbandonBiden campaign will also undermine other Democrats down the line, like Congressman Sean Casten. Casten only won election after Democrats divided the 3rd Congressional District into five districts to dilute Arab and Muslim votes and undermine the more caring Congresswoman Marie Newman.

Casten is being challenged by Mahnoor Ahmed, a Democrat who can win. Ahmad is a true and caring American and not a hypocrite like Casten.

By the way, the vast majority of Arabs in America are Christians who come from the Holy Land and who embrace Jesus. They share more compassion for their fellow Muslims and Jews than other American Christians who are hypocrites driven by hate.
