Illinois State Trooper charged with sexual assault
Tinley Park police on Friday charged an Illinois State Police Trooper with felony criminal sexual assault (victim unable to give knowing consent) in connection with an incident reported to have occurred during the early morning hours of Aug. 2, 2025.
Tinley Park detectives conducted an investigation into the trooper, Douglass Lee, 54, of Tinley Park, in accordance with established investigative procedures.
Following the investigation, police presented the evidence to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Felony Review Unit, which approved the felony charge.
Lee is scheduled to appear on Tuesday at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

There is no additional information available at this time due to the pending criminal case.
As with all criminal defendants, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
