Important News: Support Dan Balanoff running for 8th SubCircuit District Judge

Important News: Links to the latest news with attribution to the original sources. An important judicial race that you should take the time to support when you vote on March 17, 2026, is that of Dan Balanoff. He’s not a political attorney, but a very competent Estate Planning and Probate Attorney. Make sure to give him your vote. He will do well in the 8th SubCircuit as a judge. He is honest and has great integrity.

By Ray Hanania

Too often, not enough voters take the time to vote for the judges who are running in the elections.

One judge you should consider is Dan Balanoff, an Estate Planning/Probate Attorney, who comes for a very good family that has worked hard for the people of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois and the country.

I have known the Balanoff family since I was a young child growing up on Chicago’s Southeast Side. They were always dedicated to doing what’s best for the taxpayers.

Dan Balanoff is no different. He is the best.

I’ve known Dan for years, and I’ve seen firsthand his commitment to fairness, service, and our community. Before becoming a lawyer, Dan served as an EMT first responder, literally helping people on some of the hardest days of their lives, and is committed to making neighborhoods safer. For nearly two decades, he has represented working families, fighting to make sure regular people have a voice in the legal system.

Dan also served on the Local School Council at Lincoln Park High School, where he was thoughtful, collaborative, and always focused on doing what was best for students and families.

In public service, Dan delivered real results. As an Assistant Commissioner at the Cook County Board of Review, he worked to lower property taxes for homeowners. He also helped pass the Reproductive Care Act, guaranteeing women in Illinois the right to access abortion and contraceptive care.

The election is on March 17th, but mail-in ballots are available now, and early voting in the Wards begins on March 2nd. If you live in the 8th Subcircuit, please look for Dan Balanoff and punch #145 on your ballot.
