Psychological support for divorcing dads topic of CLE at Leving firm
The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will host the next presentation of the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series on Wednesday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. CDT at 19 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago.
This month’s presentation will be “Psychological support during divorce.”
“Divorce is incredibly stressful,” says attorney Jeffery M. Leving, founder and president of the firm, who will facilitate the seminar.
“It can place a heavy psychological burden on a father, whose home and family are being torn apart, and who’s fighting for his children, and who’s worried about the financial implications. At our firm, we work closely with psychologists who can help divorcing dads navigate this very difficult time in their lives. We’ll hear from a dedicated psychologist at the seminar.”
Also, attorney Andrey B. Filipowicz of the Leving firm will speak on: “Litigating against an adverse party who is pro se.” Pro selitigants are those who appear in court without a lawyer – a growing occurrence in family law.
The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The Kallow CLE Seminar Series, which began in 2014, provides legal education to family law attorneys and other professionals looking to expand their legal knowledge. CLE credit will be awarded.
Please make reservations by emailing Jennifer Whiteside (jwhiteside@levinglaw.com), as this program is close to its capacity.
