CLE at Leving firm to focus on excluding therapist testimony in family law cases
The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will host the next presentation of the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. CDT at 19 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago.
Attorney Michael W. Ochoa of the Leving firm will be the main speaker, presenting on: Objections to the Testimony of a Therapist in Family Law Cases.
“Mike is a great matrimonial litigator with extensive national experience in family law,” says attorney Jeffery M. Leving, the founder and president of the firm, who will facilitate the session. “This will be a great seminar to learn how to properly object to psychological testimony from a hostile therapist. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear this presentation.”
The seminar will cover applicable state and federal laws and regulations, case law, and strategy for protecting clients who are at risk of losing their children if dubious testimony is admitted.
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The Kallow CLE Seminar Series, which began in 2014, provides legal education to family law attorneys and other professionals looking to expand their legal knowledge. CLE credit will be awarded.
