The Great Pumpkin Party Returns to Centennial Park October 1

The Fall-Themed Event Has Limited Ticketing, Registration Required

The Village of Orland Park will kick off the fall season with the highly-anticipated Great Pumpkin Party on Saturday, October 1 at the Centennial Park Warming House, located within Centennial Park at 15600 West Avenue in Orland Park.

The outdoor event is offered in two sessions. The first session will take place from 10 a.m.– 12 p.m. and the second session from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

The on-site activities include pony rides, horse-drawn wagon rides, barrel train car rides, a pumpkin patch, a haunted house, a maze, obstacle course, music, games, donut bobbing, a costume contest, a kids play zone and a petting zoo.

The event also includes a fire pit for marshmallow roasting. All activities at the Great Pumpkin Party are included in the ticket price.

The children’s costume contest is an Orland Park favorite each year.

Children are invited to dress up as their favorite characters and creatures. Each costume contest participant will receive a giveaway prize and prizes will be awarded for best overall costume as well as for the most creative costume.

Children must be between the ages of 1 to 9-years-old to enter. Not to be left out, leashed pets are welcome on site and can be part of the fun as they participate in the pet costume parade. To enter the costume contest, please meet at the candy guess tent at 10:30 a.m. for the morning session or 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon session.

This event is made possible, in part, due to the generosity of the following sponsors:

    • Brannigan Chiropractic Center
    • ComEd
    • Duly Health and Care
    • Dave & Busters
    • Keller William Elite
    • Leaf Guard
    • Premiere Suburban Medical Group

In order to participate in the event, all participants (adults and children) must register. Cost to attend is $5 for each resident and $8 for each non-resident. Every child in attendance will receive one pie-sized pumpkin which is included in the registration fee.

Register online for the morning session (10 a.m. – 12 p.m.) at  https://bit.ly/Pumpkin10a and at  https://bit.ly/Pumpkin1p for the afternoon (1p.m.-3p.m.) session.
