The children’s costume contest is an Orland Park favorite each year.

Children are invited to dress up as their favorite characters and creatures. Each costume contest participant will receive a giveaway prize and prizes will be awarded for best overall costume as well as for the most creative costume.

Children must be between the ages of 1 to 9-years-old to enter. Not to be left out, leashed pets are welcome on site and can be part of the fun as they participate in the pet costume parade. To enter the costume contest, please meet at the candy guess tent at 10:30 a.m. for the morning session or 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon session.

This event is made possible, in part, due to the generosity of the following sponsors:

    • Brannigan Chiropractic Center
    • ComEd
    • Duly Health and Care
    • Dave & Busters
    • Keller William Elite
    • Leaf Guard
    • Premiere Suburban Medical Group

In order to participate in the event, all participants (adults and children) must register. Cost to attend is $5 for each resident and $8 for each non-resident. Every child in attendance will receive one pie-sized pumpkin which is included in the registration fee.

Register online for the morning session (10 a.m. – 12 p.m.) at  https://bit.ly/Pumpkin10a and at  https://bit.ly/Pumpkin1p for the afternoon (1p.m.-3p.m.) session.
