Leving Legal Forum to address client misconceptions of the law
The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will host the next presentation of the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series on Tuesday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. CDT at 19 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago, and via Zoom.
Attorney Andrey Filipowicz will be the keynote speaker. His topic will be: Overcoming a client’s or potential client’s common misconceptions of the law: Guidelines to help a client understand the legal system impacting their case.
“Many clients and potential clients have a misconception as to what the law is,” says attorney Jeffery M. Leving, founder and president of the firm, who will facilitate the CLE session.
“We have to help them understand the law and the legal strategies necessary for them to achieve their goals. We have to build trust and bond with the client so the client trusts us and follows our advice.”
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The Kallow CLE Seminar Series, which began in 2014, provides legal education to family law attorneys and other professionals looking to expand their legal knowledge. CLE credit will be awarded.
Please make reservations by emailing Jennifer Whiteside (jwhiteside@levinglaw.com), as this program is close to its capacity.
