Orland Fire Protection District to commemorate 50th Anniversary July 20
The Orland Fire Protection District will celebrate its 50thAnniversary as a Fire District and its 125thyear fighting fires during its annual Open House on Saturday July 20, 2019.
The annual Open House will be extra special this year, as the Orland Fire Protection District celebrates its 50th Anniversary! This event promises to be fun and exciting for all age groups, with games, activities refreshments and demonstrations!
In addition to the informative vendors’ booths, games, demonstrations, snacks and activities, the OFPD will be adding many more activities, more music, more food and more demonstrations.
The Open House and 50thAnniversary Commemoration will be held at the OFPD Training Center at 10728 W. 163rdPlace in Orland Park beginning at 10 AM through 2 pm.
The OFPD will also host a special tent to remember the original volunteer Orland Park firefighters and showcase some of the history of the Orland Fire Protection District.
