Difficulties with Macho Themes for WordPress

NewsMag from Macho Themes is a broken theme and you should avoid purchasing it from MachoThemes.com. The “Pro” Theme I purchased was a burden and took forever to load and offered very few options for design.

I purchased Macho Themes NewsMag website hoping to update the theme that I was using for years that was abandoned by Web-Dorado. Macho Themes NewsMag offered a simple layout which seemed to work at first, as all cumbersome themes that are broken do.

Then they force you to purchase the “Pro” version with the hope that the theme improve but sometimes becomes a website burden.

I did that, purchasing the “unlimited website” option for $100 so that if the system worked on one news website I have, I would use it on other news websites I manage. (I have several focused on specific news to satisfy Google News SEO indexing requirements.)

But it turns out that NewsMag from Macho Themes is a broken system and the “pro” update is not so pro at all.

In fact, it doesn’t work. The system is limiting and worse it takes forever to load, one of the biggest challenges facing news websites.

Unfortunately, the Theme causes problems and requires a lot of backend work in order to make the theme responsive. But that defeats the purpose of having a lightweight, fast loading Theme design that should work with most of the basics..

I don’t mind wasting my money because I know that thousands of readers who are looking to improve their WordPress sites will stay away from MachoThemes and not use their Theme options.

They are terrible.
