Person of Interest sought in Lyons homicide
Lyons Police and the Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) are asking for the public’s help in locating a “Person of Interest” in the slaying of Paresh Jhobalia, 62, who was found in his vehicle on Nov. 17 after being missing for more than a week.
The person-of-interest is identified as Brian Cruz and is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds with black hair and Brown eyes.
Paresh Jhobalia was reported missing on Nov. 10, 2018 and his body was discovered one week later in his vehicle near his home.
According to Lyons Police and MCAT, the person-of-interest, Brian Cruz is one of the last persons believed to have been with Paresh Jhobalia prior to his disappearance.
The Lyons Police Department is asking anyone that knows the whereabouts of Brian Cruz to contact the Lyons Police Department’s tip line at 708-442-4875.
