Leving Matrimonial Law Seminar to Present on Vacating Voluntary Acknowledgements of Paternity

By: Laura Reichel

The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will host the next presentation of the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series on September 18th at 6:30 p.m. CDT at 225 W. Wacker Drive in Chicago.

The keynote CLE speaker, skilled family law attorney Eric Hartig, will present a powerful legal analysis on vacating voluntary acknowledgements of paternity. The seminar will focus on crucial aspects of vacating voluntary acknowledgments of paternity including the legal standards governing the vacating of acknowledgements, timing and procedural requirements, and effective legal strategies for protecting clients when paternity is questioned or established under uncertain circumstances.

Attorney Hartig, a former prosecutor for the City of Chicago and a ferocious litigator, has made valuable contributions to challenging cases involving child custody, dissolution of marriage and the validity of prenuptial agreements.

“Voluntary acknowledgements of paternity can sometimes be signed in moments of pressure or without a full understanding of the consequences,” said attorney Jeffery M. Leving, founder and president of the firm, who will facilitate the seminar. “This seminar will provide attorneys with crucial legal strategies useful for high stakes and high conflict cases.”
