Leving team helped Dad defeat an order of protection, reuniting him with his children

A caring father faced his worst nightmare when, after an acrimonious break up, he suddenly found himself banned from seeing his own children. Desperate, he reached out to the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd. for help. They fought for him and won.

Dad and his girlfriend were together for many years and had several children. Their breakup was unpleasant, and his ex went to court and obtained an ex-parte Order of Protection against him. Dad was given no notice of the court date. He had no opportunity to defend himself in court. The Order of Protection unfairly banned Dad from seeing or contacting his own kids.
Unfortunately, there are Orders of Protection issued based on flimsy or manufactured evidence. Even if a man and his ex have a squabble, it is wrong to manufacture evidence that the children are in any danger when they’re not and that’s what happened to this father.
Dad called attorney Jeffery Leving for help. Being completely cut off from his children was a horrible nightmare for this loving father.
The Leving team immediately went to court, strategically presented the evidence, fiercely litigated dad’s case, and won. The judge ordered that Dad be reunited with his children. The judge granted dad substantial parenting time, and unlimited contact with his kids via phone, text, email, video chat and more.
This is an important victory, modified for publication, that puts this dad where he belongs: back in the lives of his children. The Leving team simply would not stand for this injustice, which was harmful to dad and his kids. Thanks to this court victory, they don’t have to.
Dad sent an email praising the Leving legal team for navigating the court proceedings and winning for him, which reunited him with his kids, and included photos of them together. “My first weekend with them could not have been more glorious for us,” Dad wrote.
