Leving team frees duped dad from paying child support for another man’s child
The Leving legal team won an important case for a man who was ordered to pay child support for a little girl who was not even his biological child. The client and the mother were never married.
The mother misled the client to believe he was the little girl’s father, and she obtained a court order for child support against him.
Years later the man learned that he was not, in fact, the biological father of the child, but he was still forced to pay child support to the mother or risk violating a court order and possible incarceration.

The duped dad was upset that he was court ordered to pay child support to the mother of a child that he learned was not his. Immediately, he contacted the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd., for help and was assured that they could help, and they did. They won for him.
The Leving team immediately met with the client and explained exactly how they would help him. The team got to work right away fighting for their client’s rights and filed a Petition to Vacate the Voluntary Acknowledgement of Paternity. After fiercely litigating their client’s case, the court agreed with the team, determined that their client was not the biological father of the child, and eliminated their client’s entire child support obligation and all his child support arrears.
