Dad rescues daughters from reported sexual exploitation and physical abuse

A distraught dad contacted Chicago attorney Jeffery M. Leving to rescue his daughters. Dad told Leving that his daughters were suffering terrible abuse by the mother’s predatory boyfriend, according to Court documents.

Dad said he didn’t know where to turn, but needed help for his daughters. Leving said he would help and immediately started working on the case.

Leving will discuss this important case on his radio program, the Dads Rights Legal Hour, this Saturday, 9-10 a.m. CDT October 2, 2021, on Power 92.3 FM in Chicago.

Dad reported that his two daughters recently suffered several incidents of sexual and physical abuse at the hands of the mother’s boyfriend, according to court documents. In addition, one of his daughters has a disability which requires specialized care.

It was further reported that the girls told dad they’re scared of their mother and her boyfriend. Leving feared time was of the essence.

The Leving team designed a strategic legal plan as they were concerned about the reported abuse of the girls. They went into court prosecuting a Petition for an Emergency Order of Protection. “Failure was not an option. We presented the facts to the Judge and argued that the abuse must stop,” said Leving.

The Leving team asked that the Court order that the children be placed in the sole care of the father, that the mother and her boyfriend have no contact with the children, that Dad be given exclusive possession of the parties’ residence where the girls live, and that the mother be prohibited from going to that residence or to the schools that the children attend. Leving also requested the court to appoint a Guardian ad Litem for the children.

Through the strong evidence the Leving team presented and their persuasive arguments, they convinced the Judge that Dad’s children needed all of the protections that the Leving team asked for. The Judge agreed and ordered the relief dad requested, including the appointment of a Guardian ad Litem.

Leving noted that this was a critical victory, modified for broadcast, to  rescue two little girls from reported sexual exploitation and physical abuse. Dad is relieved and grateful that Leving was successful in securing the Emergency Order of Protection. Because of this Court Order, Leving believes that Dad can now give his daughters all the loving care that they need and deserve to grow and thrive in a warm, caring, environment.
