Orland Township hosts Back-to-School Health Fair for students

The Back-to-School Health Fair is taking place on Saturday, August 14th

Orland Township’s Back-to-School Health Fair is quickly approaching! Supervisor Paul O’Grady and the Board of Trustees are excited to help everyone get ready to go back to school. The fair, which will take place on Saturday, August 14th between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., will be held at Orland Township; located at 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park, IL.

The Back-to-School Health Fair will have plenty of free services and fun activities available to children going into K-High School. School physicals (sports and health) will be available for $35 for Township residents ($45 for non-residents) and proof of residency is required. Admission is FREE.

Dental screenings, eye exams, and haircuts (provided by Salon Evangelos) are among other services that will be provided. The Secretary of State Mobile Unit will also be onsite; child’s birth certificate/passport, social security card, and driver’s license/ID of the parent (or guardian) is required to issue State ID’s.

Additionally, children can enjoy games and prizes from generous donors such as White Mountain, Burger 21, and many more. Face painting and local vendors will also be at the event, including Edward Jones offering tuition assistance information. Different giveaways from White Mountain, Burger 21, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and other attendees will also be available.
