Saluting Our Veterans: Elmhurst native trains in Guam
Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class J.D. CRS-2 is assigned to Costal Riverine Group 1, Det. Guam and is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. HSC-25 provides a multi-mission rotary wing capability for units in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and maintains a Guam-based 24-hour search-and-rescue and medical evacuation capability, directly supporting U.S. Coast Guard and Joint Region Marianas.

Hanania was named "Best Ethnic American Columnist" by the New America Media in November 2007, and is the 2009 recipient of the SPJ National Sigma Delta Chi Award for column writing.
