The Orland Park police car was flying with sirens wailing and lights flashing, spinning around the northern side of the Orland Park Mall Saturday afternoon around 4:30 pm on Circle Drive near John Humphrey Drive.
The police car skid to a halt and the police officer jumped out leaving the door open and ran towards a man who was fleeing another man. The police officer and the man grabbed the other man and held him on the ground as the officer tied plastic handcuffs on his wrists.
Quick action by the Orland Park Police. There’s no information on what the suspect did but clearly there was an urgency to stop him.
