Local pizzeria, a long time favorite

Known for one of the best deep dish pizza’s on the Southwest side

At the age of 19, Mike Guerra came to America in search of a better life and
opportunities. In the mid 1970’s as a pizza cook at Giordano’s Restaurant
on 63rd Street. Guerra wanted more in life for himself and his family so
he opened what is known as one of the best pizzeria’s on Chicago’s Southwest side.

Along with his wife Lidia, the Guerra’s own Cipriani’s Pizza located at
5840 W. 63rd Street in the Clearing neighborhood just west of Midway Airport.

“We have been here for over 20 years” said Guerra, also adding they only use fresh ingredients and prepare their homemade sauce daily.
With a full menu including pasta, sandwiches as well as other favorites Cipriani’s is known for their delicious deep dish pizza.
“We are thankful to our customers for their business” added Guerra.

Cipriani’s hours are Mon, Wed and Thurs 11am-10pm, Fri 11am-11pm, Sat 2pm-11pm
and Sun 3pm-10pm closed on Tuesday. Located at 5840 W. 63rd Street Chicago
Phone 773 582-3747. They offer dine-in and carryout and delivery is available.
