Leving Team United Dad with Newborn Daughter

A father should never have to fight for the chance to hold and love his own child. But after this dad’s daughter was born, he was immediately cut out of her life by an Order of Protection that prohibited him from all contact with his daughter.
Instead of celebrating the birth of his little girl, dad was left heartbroken and fearful that he would never even meet her.
He called attorney Jeffery Leving for help.
The Leving team moved quickly to unite him with his daughter.

Dad was feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and afraid that he would lose the opportunity to build a relationship with his daughter before it had even begun. He wanted the chance to be a father.
Leving immediately sprang into action providing hope and strength to this devastated dad. He gave dad the motivation he needed to fight for his daughter. The Leving litigation team devised a legal strategy and litigated this tough case to victory.
They did not simply seek to remove the Order of Protection that separated dad from his child. The Leving team went on the offensive to establish and protect dad’s right to parent his daughter and be part of her life. They successfully fought to have the Order of Protection dismissed, allowing dad the opportunity to finally begin building a relationship with his daughter. The judge ruled in dad’s favor. The judge also appointed a child representative for the young daughter at the request of the Leving team, helping ensure that the girl’s best interests were fully recognized. The Leving litigation team continued pressing forward and secured a court order providing dad regular parenting time.
Now, dad is no longer shut out of his daughter’s life. He’s finally able to build the meaningful father-daughter relationship the Leving team fought so hard to protect. His close-knit family, including the paternal grandparents, can now also provide the care, support, and stability that this little girl deserves.
This court victory, modified for publication, is a powerful and emotional victory for this father who refused to give up. Without swift action and a laser-focused legal strategy, dad could have remained separated from his little girl for her entire life. This victory serves as a reminder that children matter and have rights too. When a father is unfairly cut off from his child, every moment matters and every child deserves the love, protection, and support of a parent who will not stop fighting for them.
