Forest View woman missing

Charisma Ehresman, 20, was last seen Sunday

By Steve Metsch

Charisma Ehresman, of Forest View, has not been seen since Sunday and her family is very worried, her uncle said Wednesday evening.

“It’s definitely not normal for her not to come home,” Mike Pantelin said of his niece, who was last seen at 10:17 p.m. Sunday leaving her home in the 4600 block of South Wisconsin Ave.

“She texted her mom she was going out and she’d be back,” her uncle said.

On Thursday, the Forest View Police Department and Illinois State Police activated an Endangered Missing Person Advisory for Ehresman.

Ehresman, 20, is a Morton West High School graduate, attends classes at Triton College, has a job and lives with her parents, said Pantelin, of Bolingbrook.

She is driving a red 2014 Ford Fiesta with the Illinois license plate CW 20209.
Ehresman stands 5-foot-2 and has long hair dyed red.
She has a small diamond stud in her pierced nose. Her tattoos are a Virgo symbol behind her left ear, a half sun/moon on the back of her neck, a Meduse on her right thigh, and the numbers 777 on her left forearm.
The family has reached out to local TV stations along with “friends, family, co-workers, colleagues,” seeking information about her whereabouts, Pantelin said.
“That’s kind of where we’re at,” he said.

To his knowledge, Ehresman does not have a boyfriend. “She has groups of friends and she was going out to meet with somebody,” he said. “We don’t know where she was going.”

He said police determined her cell phone “pinged” in Oak Park around 1 a.m. Tuesay in Oak Park. “I was driving around (Oak Park on Wednesday) with a friend, driving up and own blocks, looking for the car,” he said.

“It’s sad because you see people missing every day. It breaks your heart, especially when it’s someone you know dearly, said Pantelin, who grew up in Lyons.

“Not good,” he said when asked how his sister and brother-in-law are doing.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Forest View Police Department at (708) 788-0318.
