Leving Team Fought and Brought Dad’s Twin Boys Home

No father should have to wonder if he will ever see his children again. Unfortunately for this father, he was forced to face that reality after his twin sons were suddenly pulled out of his life and taken out of Illinois without his knowledge.
Cut off, alarmed, and fearing for his boys’ safety, dad knew he was running out of time.
He turned to Attorney Jeffery M. Leving to bring his sons home.
The Leving team fought and won.

Dad reported that the mother had been isolating his children from him, limiting contact and weakening his relationship with his sons. Unfortunately, his worst fears were realized when he discovered that, without warning, she absconded with the children from Illinois and moved to another state. Dad was terrified that he’d never see his children again. He feared that the mother’s alleged history of substance abuse combined with the sudden move placed his children at serious risk and jeopardized their safety and well-being.
Leving assured dad that the Leving litigation team would fight to return his children to him and they did.
The Leving team understood that every second mattered. Dad feared the mother’s removal of the children created a volatile situation that threatened their safety and well-being. He was left without access, without answers, and fearing the worst. The Leving team moved quickly to bring the matter before the court, making it clear that this was not only a violation of dad’s legal rights, but a serious threat to the children’s stability and emotional health.
They refused to back down. The Leving litigation team fought fiercely to bring both boys home and argued before the judge that the mother’s actions and her reported history created a risk to the children that was too big to ignore. They demonstrated that these boys needed their father. The judge ordered that the children be returned to Illinois and to dad. The Leving team restored dad’s role in his sons’ lives.
This was a powerful court victory modified for publication that protected the children’s well-being, safeguarded dad’s legal rights and secured the stability these two boys so desperately needed. Had dad not turned to the Leving team when he did, the outcome could have been devastating.
