Leving Team’s Victory Safeguarded the Future of Two Young Girls

By Laura Reichel

Every child deserves stability, security, and the financial support necessary to grow and thrive.

Yet too often, that foundation is threatened. In this case, two young girls were at risk of being denied the support they deserved and needed until the Leving legal team stepped in, exposed the truth, and fought to safeguard their future. They fought for them and won.

The judge ordered support exceeding what the Leving legal team had requested and ensured that the children’s needs would be fully met.

Chicago-based matrimonial attorney Jeffery Leving, President of the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd., will talk about this important court victory on the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour, 9-10 a.m. CDT Saturday, April 25th on Power 92.3 FM.

The parents were never married but lived together with their daughters. After their separation, the client turned to attorney Jeffery Leving for help securing support. The Leving legal team fiercely litigated this case to victory. The firm’s private detective provided crucial investigative services.

However, it quickly became clear the opposing party’s financial disclosures couldn’t be trusted by the Leving legal team. The affidavit and tax returns reportedly contained serious misrepresentations, including improperly claiming personal expenses as business deductions, misstating income, and failing to disclose funds.

The Leving legal team immediately presented its evidence to the court and argued that accurate financial disclosure was critical to protecting the children’s best interests. They won. The judge ordered the opposing party to pay support, required that the opposing party cover one hundred percent of the children’s expenses, and granted the Leving legal team’s request for interim attorney’s fees in full with prompt payment.

This important court victory modified for publication was about more than financial support. It was about protecting these young girls’ futures and ensuring that they were not deprived of what they need, regardless of the relationship between their parents. It’s a powerful reminder that when the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd.  fight for the truth, they protect the futures of the children who depend on them.

Matrimonial attorney Jeffery M. Leving is the recipient of the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the President of the United States in recognition of his 7,500 hours of service to this great nation. Leving is also the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award from President George W. Bush. Leving is a nationally recognized matrimonial and family law attorney.
