In honor of the 100-year anniversary of the Paris Olympic Games, USA Rugby and AEG Rugby are bringing a revival of “The Pershing Cup” to Chicagoland as the USA teams takes on Romania once again.

“We’re thrilled to be back in Chicagoland, where USA Rugby has been fortunate to host some major events in years past, with a great community of fans and supporters,” said USA Rugby CEO, Bill Goren.

“Chicagoland rugby has been growing year over year with the Chicago Hounds of MLR venturing into their second season and a very strong club participation scene that has us excited for July. The July 4th holiday brings a whole new level of life to this national even, with some patriotic celebrations fans can expect to see at Seat Geek Stadium.”

The 2024 American Series is presented by USA Rugby and AEG Rugby and will feature four action-packed international test matches featuring the USA.

Matches will be held across the country and the series kicked off April 28th as the USA Women’s National Team took on Canada in Los Angeles at Dignity Health Sports Park (home of the annual LA Sevens event).
