Cook County Commissioner Frank Aguilar hosts Family Resource Fair at district office

Commissioner Aguilar will be joined by representatives from Illinois Department of Health, Cook County Health to Provide Residents with Health and Family Services.

What: Second Annual Family Resource Fair

When: Saturday, October 22nd, from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Where: Commissioner Aguilar’s District Office, 7833 Ogden Ave, Lyons, IL 60534

Why: To increase residents’ access to health and family services, Commissioner Aguilar is hosting the Second Annual Family Resource Day on Saturday, October 22nd. 

Also joining Commissioner Aguilar will be the Illinois Department of Health, Cook County Department of Health, U.S. Department of Labor.  

The combination of local stakeholders and health organizations with government services will bring a wide range of services and supplies to the 16th District, and will allow for residents to easily access the resources they need.  

The Family Resource Fair will have community and family resources such as free Covid-19 vaccines, free flu shots, face painting, snacks, and more family-fun activities. 

Parking is available in the Teamsters Local 777 and Dolejs Realty and Property Management parking lots located on each side of Commissioner Aguilar’s office. Media availability will run from 10:30am – 11:30am.
