The Age of the Dinosaurs is Coming Soon to Northwest Indiana’s Family-Fun Farm Park

Bring your family out for a dino-mite experience as we step back in “tyme” to the Age of the Dinosaurs at Harvest Tyme Family Farm on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. starting August 27 through September 18, 2022.

Dino Tyme at the Farm is a new experience at Harvest Tyme Family Farm for the 2022 season. Located in Northwest Indiana, visitors to Harvest Tyme can expect to discover on their journey majestic, pre-historic creatures from the Cenozoic, Mesozoic, and Paleozoic eras.

Guests will be able to get up close and personal with life size replicas of over twenty dinosaurs that will come alive with their life-like animatronic movements.

Owner Josh Sickinger ensures that “the dinosaurs will be a great family experience for all ages.”

“My favorite part about owning this business is seeing the excitement on our guests’ faces as they make new family memories with each and every visit,” says Sickinger.

His youngest son played a dynamic part in the selection of which dinosaurs would be featured in the new experience, his favorites being the T-rex and Triceratops.

Stage shows will occur throughout the festivities where guests will be able to interact with baby dinosaurs and Harvest Tyme’s very own Velociraptor. Stage shows times will be at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. General admission also includes access to all the dinosaurs, the Butterfly Encounter, unlimited rides on over 10 amusement rides, fossil dig, dinosaur rides, and more.

Farm guests will also be able to experience special events on select dates such as the Sunflower Festival on September 10-11 & 17-18, as well as the Wizard of Oz Festival on September 17-18. Both special events are included in the price of general admission and gets you access to the sunflower fields for picking on those dates.

About HARVEST TYME FAMILY FARM

The Harvest Tyme farming family has a rich history of agriculture in the Lowell, Indiana area that dates to the 1850s.  Current owner Josh Sickinger and his wife, Melissa, relaunched the farm in 2007 when they started growing pumpkins on a large scale. Since then, the farm has expanded to include a wide variety of attractions, amusement rides, and themed festivals and events for Indiana and Illinois families to enjoy. They even boast a largest family corn mazes in Northwest Indiana with a lookout bridge that allows maze goers the opportunity to get an eagle-eye view of the whole maze with great picture opportunities. The farm park is open seasonally in late-summer and throughout the fall and even features drive-thru holiday light displays in November and December.
