Right from the Middle: The Principles of Positive Americanism

Former Congressman Bill Lipinski talks about what makes Americanism and the political forces that are trying to weaken Americanism, the importance of freedom of religion, and understanding the real threats of Communism and Marxism which are threats to the American way of Life and the American Constitution.

By Bill Lipinski

Believe in God and practice what he taught us. Practice the Golden rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Seek and practice the following qualities of character:

Strength – being physically strong to accomplish a difficult and challenging task.

Dedication – being committed in the long run to the successful completion of a very difficult challenge.

Courage – having the ability to overcome being anxious and afraid to do the right thing. Wisdom – having the experience, knowledge and good judgment to say and do what is right.

Integrity – being honest and having strong moral principles.

Charity as an individual – giving help and or money to those in need temporarily or permanently.

Patience – the capacity to accept or tolerate delay without getting upset or angry or giving up the job.

Discipline – having the ability to control oneself mentally and physically.

Initiative – the ability to assess and start independently to resolve a difficult situation and enthusiasm to arouses intense and eager support in one’s self and others to accomplish a difficult mission.

Positive thinking Americans believe in individualism and personal responsibility, they ask how can I help my family, my church, my country, my neighborhood, my fellow man, and how can I improve myself.

Positive thinking Americans strive for achievement every day, achievement that will improve civilization and mankind. Never lose your faith in this land of liberty – it problems, faults, and challenges are all Americans responsibilities to correct as quickly as possible.

Do not allow our disputes and differences to rip us apart; never forget this is one nation under God with liberty and justice and opportunity for all.

From our differences we must gain strength to become that “perfect union” the founding fathers talked about and truly believed would materialize. The founding fathers believed this can only take place with hard work, perseverance and the help of God.

We must remember all Americans were created by God and give them the respect and dignity they deserve as children of God.

We must promote, respect and improve our institutions because they are the foundation of civilized society. Our Democratic Republic has grown, progressed and prospered by having respect for our institutions.

American institutions are one of the principal pillars that have made our Democratic Republic the lighthouse for the rest of the world to be guided by.

Americans have a responsibility and obligation to be the best person they can be to keep society running smoothly for the benefit of this Democratic Republic and its citizens.

America was founded on great principles- from the very beginning we worked extremely hard to implement and perfect these principles for all our citizens.

We have made incredible progress but not yet achieved perfection, perhaps one day with the grace of God, unlimited hard-work and supreme devotion to self-sacrifice, we will create the society God wants for all of us.

But now, once again, we are confronted by a brutal, insidious evil enemy, an enemy within our borders, an enemy that is working night and day to divide us into groups, individual groups that think they can influence to fight with other groups they have divided us into, thereby sapping our strength to repel them and preserve our American way of life.

They are rewriting our history books to present our great nation and its people in a unfavorable light, to say the least. A more accurate depiction of what they’re trying to do is destroy our confidence in what a great nation this is, and how much it has done for mankind and civilization.

They are also attacking our history and culture by convincing public officials to tear down memorials to Americans like Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Frederick Douglass and many more. And, they are calling for and working for the defunding of the police, one of the great pillars of our society, by questioning every decision and action by police departments.

They advocate the teaching of critical race theory in all our schools. They say the dominant culture and capital system are unjust and inequitable, racist, sexist imperialist materialistic and destructive of the environment.

They will say and do anything to tear down this country so they can rebuild it in a foreign way, that foreign way many believe is Marxism.

Marxism is the bridge from believing in God, individualism, individual responsibility, and striving for perfection versus atheism, collectivism, the group being more valuable than the individual, order and control being more important than the individual’s accomplishments – to what many say is Communism.

Communism being the dictatorship’s total control of the culture, the economy, society, education and the individual.

This is why I strongly advocate all-Americans believe in and practice the principles of positive Americanism, so they will be well-armed to oppose this very evil force trying to destroy our Democratic Republic!
