Suspect sought in Cicero Bowling Alley assault
Cicero Police are seeking a male suspect in his late 20s or early 30s, who is African American, who is seen in a social media video striking another individual with a bowling ball on his head during a bowling event that was held Wednesday night at Town Hall Bowl in Cicero, 5025 W 25th Street.
Police have taken an image from the video of the suspect and circulated it to the media and public asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to call Cicero Police immediately at 708-652-2130.
The victim is identified as 28-year old Damante Williams who is in critical condition, according to family members, Loyola Hospital.
The incident occurred Wednesday night among individuals who were bowling early on Wednesday evening. A brawl ensued when the bowling ball attack took place. Individuals scattered and one of the patrons of the bowling alley who had run out of the building flagged down a Cicero Police car. No one from the bowling alley called police when the incident occurred.
