Harlem Avenue closed because of large bakery fire at 84th Street

5:10 pm Tuesday July 17, 2018

The Bridgeview Police Department has ordered Harlem Avenue closed in both directions around 84^th Street at the scene of a major fire. Police officials urged motorists not to approach the intersection and suggested that they detour along 79^th Street on the north and 87^th Street on the south.

The fire is located at the Dunajec Bakery & Deli located at 8339 S. Harlem Avenue, in Bridgeview.

Police officials said they expect the road closing to remain in effect until after 6 pm
