Alderman Silvana Tabares (23) Announces Endorsement of Richard Boykin for 7^th Congressional District Seat

CHICAGO (February 5, 2026) Alderman Silvana Tabares (23) is announcing her endorsement of Richard Boykin, candidate for the 7^th Congressional District seat.

“Richard Boykin is a proven fighter with common sense solutions. Years ago, he put his career on the line to fight the ‘Pop Tax’ that was impacting families in Cook County. He has always led with courage and will be a powerful voice for our communities. I hope you will join me in supporting Richard Boykin for Congress,” says Alderman Tabares.

Tabares joins fellow Alderman Ray Lopez, Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas, Dr. Willie Wilson, former Oak Park Mayor Anan Abu Taleb and Rabbi Barry Axler in endorsing Boykin for Congress.

The Democratic Primary election is on March 17, 2026.
