Village of Frankfort welcomes five new Police Officers

The Village of Frankfort is proud to celebrate the ceremonial swearing-in of five police officers—Dylan Beattie, Tyler Schuerg, Kyle Graff, Brett Miller, and Joel Wick—during the January 13, 2025, board meeting.

Initially hired in April 2024, these officers have successfully completed their field training and are now assigned to solo patrol, ready to serve the Frankfort community.

Police Chief Leanne Chelepis shared her confidence in the new officers, “The dedication and talent these officers bring to our department will enhance our ability to serve and protect the community. We are proud to have them join our team and confident in their ability to uphold the high standards of the Frankfort Police Department.”

Mayor Keith Ogle also commented on the importance of their service, “The Village of Frankfort is fortunate to welcome these outstanding individuals to our police department. Their addition is a testament to our commitment to ensuring that Frankfort remains a safe and vibrant community for all who live, work, and visit here.”

Officers Beattie, Schuerg, Graff, Miller, and Wick bring a diverse range of skills and experiences that will benefit both the department and the community. Their hiring highlights Frankfort’s proactive approach to building a strong police force dedicated to collaboration and safety.

The Village of Frankfort is committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all. For more information about the Frankfort Police Department, visit www.frankfortil.org.
